Mayra and Mr. Mow, when jazz meets pop and folk music.

The story begins when Mayra’s mellifluous voice mingles with the sunny guitar of Mr. Mow. Swaying between India, Mr. Mow’s sacred destination, and Brazil, Mayra’s birthplace, this soulful duo reveals an intimate and intense sound.

In this adventure, they both come-along with the rhythms that shaped them: Nina Simone’s percussive piano, Chet Baker’s trumpet and Chico Buarque’s verses for one; Jimmy Page’s fingering, Django’s Nuages and the Woodstock dreams for the other.

Magic begins as one gets carried away by their journey, both simple and multiple. Simple because of their formation, multiple by the languages through which music reaches our ears: when the sweet accents from Brazil mingle with the French prose, and then get overwhelmed by the fluency of English.
